Yes. Tell us about your memory and we’ll create a personalized sample of your book. See the words, illustrations and familiar faces before deciding whether to purchase.
What’s included in my sample?
You’ll see your cover, two introductory pages including your dedication, and the first two story pages. Your sample is watermarked and available to preview online.
Will the finished book match my sample?
Your sample is the beginning of your actual book. When you purchase, we continue that same story rather than starting over with something different.
Do I need a big adventure or special occasion?
No. A Saturday with Grandpa, a bedtime tradition or a funny family moment can make a wonderful story. It doesn’t have to be a milestone to be worth remembering.
Do I have to write the story myself?
No writing skills required. Our questionnaire helps you tell us what happened, who was there and which little details matter. We turn those answers into an illustrated story.
Is this just a book with our names added?
Your memory and the details you share shape the story itself. The people, relationships and moments you describe give us the starting point for your book.
Will the characters look like us?
Your photos help guide the characters’ appearance, but the illustrations are storybook interpretations rather than exact portraits. Your personalized sample lets you see the style and likeness before you pay.
Can I make a book as a gift?
Absolutely. A memory you share with a parent, grandparent or someone special can become a book to read together. Add a dedication to tell them why that moment matters to you.
Will I approve the finished book before it’s printed?
Yes. You’ll review the completed book and approve it before it moves to our final review and printing stage.
